HSBC were recently featured in BBC’s Panorama. One couple Amanda and Basil Rankine successfully challenged the bank over monies owed by them. HSBC agreed to drop the debt held by the Rankines after being challenged using the consumer credit act.
Mr Rankine believes that HSBC had lost the paperwork.
